ups and downs
sooo that whole 15 day challenge thing didn’t quite work out did it? Thats okay, none of the ones that I skipped were perticularly intesting. I don’t think anybody really cares to know what my food consumption was today. So we’ll just let this whole thing go then.
I was thinking about Chess today, which made me think of Josh Groban, and whenever that happens there is only one song I need to hear. A few years ago I was listening to a Josh Groban CD in the car and this song came on. Maybe it’s not a breath taking as I think it is, but to me, it’s perfect. So often i’ll just play it on repeat from my computer, and it always helps my mood.
2:31?
that’s all i got to say
bang bang bamf.
Uhh. So it’s been a few days, but I just wasn’t in the mood to blog. It’s a mindset, and I did actually sit down and try to blog yesterday, I just couldn’t write anything worth posting. Pretty pathetic considering I have clear directions everyday, no? But it’s okay, they weren’t important or interesting!
Day 8: Create a bucket list.
Believe it or not, on my old computer I have a legitimate bucket list. Even though it hasn’t been updated in a few years. Well, I’ll try to think of most everything.
Bucket List
1. Go to a ball. Yeah, I’m secretly a princess.
2. Live in New York City
3. Keep a journal.
4. skydive! Yeah, legitimite jumping out of a plane with a parachute.
5. read moby dick (if i don’t in english class then i know i never actually will)
6. EAT AT THE OLIVE GARDEN. It’s my favorite restaurant, yeah, but I’ve never actually been there. The commercials are just so convincing that it automatically tops all other places.
7. do the cliche stand out of a sunroof from a limo
8. perform on broadway?
9. be truly happy no matter what happens in my life
10. beat this level on Angry Birds.
11. learn to sail
12. speak fluent french
13. YOGA! (frenchwoods here i come)
14. go clubbing in London
15. learn to knit. you never have enough hats and scarves and socks and mittens. the only poncho i will ever wear is one I make myeslf
16. meet tyra. have her tell me i’m fierce
okay so that was rediculous. I never knew how hard it was to make a bucket list by being put on the spot. Most of that is just random stuff I made up off the top of my head. Some is legit.
regrets and mistakes they are memories made
Day 5: Post your favorite recipe!
Sorry all you uber feminists, but i’m not afraid to admit my love for cooking. Just ask anyone who has been near me when i’m playing bakery story on my phone, it’s a bit obsessive. But anyways, me loving to cook means that i don’t necessarily have a favorite recipe. I like a lot of them, depending on my mood.
I guess you could call making a formspring a recipe for disaster?

She’s got the power to be
Day 3: Post your favorite quote
hahaha ohh silly challenge question. I have not one, but many favorite quotes. I’ll just put up a few of them, or several
Material things aside, we need not advice but approval - Coco Chanel
Even if everything goes wrong, I know that there’s still a way to get to where I want to be. - Road to Nowhere
Ideas are made to be communicated. - Chanel
My asymptote is showing! You don’t want to see that… - Amy Dyment?
I have always done everything with passion. - Chanel
I don’t shut up, I grow up, and when I look at you, I throw up - Stand by Me gang
Thats enough. Sorry about the overload of Chanel quotes, but she’s my topic for a semester research paper so she’s kinda always a little on my mind.
right as rain
Day 2: Bullet your day
- wake up (tswiftz yo)
- drink tea and watch the snow disapprovingly
- arrive at school, sit in the hallway until senor binaghi yells at us in spanish to get to homeroom
- do some school stuffs
- try to understand the point of the day 29 senior sign
- sing some songs avec le choriste
- try to finish the graded chem worksheet without being distracted by the mumbley substitute
- drive around with tony and the agganis crew for a few hours
- return home, lie down, begin to fidgit, fall off my bed while on the phone with jessica
- BOWL (and win both games i might add)

- return home once again. change into sweatpants. blog!
- ….zzzz…..
isn’t my life just the most exciting thing you’ve ever read in bulleted format? i know, it’s just tooo much for complete sentences. What’s that you say? you want to know more? I’LL BE BACK TOMORROW WITH MORE FUN DAILY CHALLENGE POSTS.
and i hear your words…
Right, well it’s been a long third quarter/ couple of weeks. A lot has happened, my mind has been occupied. But I like blogging, it’s nice. I get to play my favorite CD and just write, but I guess lately I need a motivation. A reason to write. I really don’t want to end up a ghost-blogger. So i’ll do 15 days. In 15 days, I will finish this challenge, pack my bags, and leave for Paris. But at least there will be something here for a while.
Day 1: introduce yourself. list your likes and dislikes.
Okay so, me? My name’s Amy, although sometimes people think thats short for Amelia or something. It’s not. I’m 16, I do karate and drama and piano and voice, but mostly you can find me at school. I’m shy, and I get anxious easily.
I like people, singing, sleeping, pretty little liars, writing, spacing out, candles, coffee, my cellphone, pens, peanut butter m&ms, Adele, TSwizzle, MGMT, new notebooks, my macbook, music, dancing, making people happy, and clothes. People mostly describe me as “cute”, and i’ll take that. I like being classy, I think it improves my mood when I’m happy with how I look.
I dislike when my nail polish chips, autocorrect, my squeaky closet door, milk, the elastic on tights, not having cell reception, intro to business, music stands that don’t stay put, unsharpened pencils, things that small badly, auditions, glue sticks, true/false problems, and spiders. No, i don’t dislike spiders, I have an irrationally strong fear of them. I have taken a hand vacuum to my bed in fear that there is something there, it gets a bit ridiculous. I also dislike talking about myself too much, so that’s that.
until tomorow?
hot chocolate and french bread
Well, it’s official. If you don’t have a car, and your friends who have cars are MIA, and it’s cold, living in a small town isn’t very exciting. And it’s cold. So tonight, a list of exciting things was born, just incase it’s ever needed (like every weekend night). First we did the logicial thing, ask a tumblerer (tumleree? tumblerite?)

Other than hard liquor, recreational drugs, and each other?
Um, find a grassy hill, get a large block of ice, place a towel on top of it, and slide down.
Google “Walmart Bingo” and play with your friends at your local Walmart.
Start a game of Assassin. I’m sure you can find the rules online somewhere too.
Sounds lame, but fashion photoshoots whether taken seriously or not can be very, very entertaining.
Sounds lovely, but alas, we did none of those. Instead, we set out for an adventure to CVS for candy. Well, this turned into a nice little walk downtown, where we discovered the niceness of park benches surrounded by snow. We also found that if you sit cross legged on the wall around the cemetary, it’s quite the lovely time. Of course, our night was intermittently enhanced by the commentary of STEPHEN GORDON (see what i did there stephen, what an entrance i gave you). He even illustrated our adventure, where if you stalk us enough on facebook, you’ll find. And i’ll leave it up to your imagination whether or not we actually met a hobo.
A sure sign of the end of an adventure is numb hands and legs.
A remedy for this is hot chocolate, easy mac, and french bread.
friday night lights
Today was an especially nice day, it being practically spring in my mind now. From today on, I’ll probably be pushing the limits of spring clothing that won’t give me hypothermia. It was also a lovely start to vacation. After a nice walk to cumby’s with alyson, which included in getting my TOMS shoes thoroughly soaked, and a nice visit to joshua, we retired to our usual friday night routine. There isn’t much that goes into these great nights, just a few requirements:
Chinese food (a must. we had our order saved in aly’s phone but alas, it has died)
Super monkeyball 2 (gamecube. but this is also our gossip session, not really looking at each other but paying attention to the game too)
and of course, the evening ended as it usually does. Aly falls asleep, leaving me and katherine to bug ourselves out and be absolutely crazy. These are the times to exaggerate our insecurities and make rediculous fabulous plans that most likely won’t come true. Usually by now monkeyball is over and we’re just sprawled out on alys couch until she wakes up and mumbles about stuff until we leave.
or until we wait outside on her front steps until andrew picks us up….
CAT IN THE HAT BLIZZARD
Lately i’ve been realizing how things you put on the internet really don’t go away, and are found super easily. Last year at some point I may have blogged about how I love snowstorms and thunderstorms. That post may have included a visual for emphasization. I also may have once put up a picture relating to the cat in the hat? Apparently boston snow storms and cat in the hat are frequently searched items. Whenever I check the statistics, a good majority of the hits on my blog are from people searching for one of those two things. My blog stats just about go crazy every time we have a snowstorm, like every other day. Oh well, free publicity?
